The Music & Writings of Graham JacksonTransparencies TooAT LAST! THE NEW, 2ND CD YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR! The aim of the first CD, Transparencies, was to let a spiritual light shine through the music, while relaxing the listener. As the aim of this second one is the same, it seemed only natural to call it Transparencies Too. The special tuning is also the same This time it is however divided into 20 shorter tracks, as some of you requested, and you will find a slightly different style. You can sample excerpts from five of the tracks here. They did not originally have names, so they are not on the CD insert. You can find them here, however, under Titles and Timings. They are selected from just two evenings of improvisations. Ask for it in your local music store, so that they will stock it. You can also however buy it here online. The price is now only $12.00. And it is available on iTunes. Please send us your comments on it so we can publish them. Some are below, and see also the comments on Transparencies. I have been agreeably surprised to find how much many of those who have it, really love it, and have been playing it for years. Some use it for meditation, some for accompanying massage or other treatments, some for waiting rooms, and some just for relaxing.
REVIEWS OF TRANSPARENCIES TOO: Lone Eagle Eye, Facing North, (www.facingnorth.net) Graham’s improvisational piano music is breathtakingly beautiful, simply enchanting. As Graham states, the aim of his CD “is to let a spiritual light shine through the music, while relaxing the listener.” I personally feel that he has done a magnificent job of doing what he set out to do. Transparencies Too has a pleasantly flowing quality to it, in which its melodic sounds bring forth within the listener, a sense of calming tranquility, and a wonderful feeling of harmony, which leaves the listener feeling peaceful within, serene. The music gently melds with the listener creating a calming/soothing atmosphere that I personally find to be not only therapeutic, but very inspiring as well. Transparencies Too can be utilized not only for pleasure, but to keep stress away and/or relieve already existing stress, for meditation, and in my opinion would be quite soothing for working with Special Needs children and Adults too.

ON NPR: National Public Radio's Morning Edition is one of the most listened-to programs in the USA. They are also famous for announcing their musical interludes and listing them on the website. On April 28 (2006), they played an excerpt from Track 13 at the end of a review of the new hit movie, United 93. A listener heard it, and e-mailed me to learn where to buy the CD. As they also listed a bit of Track 18, it must have also been used somewhere. The NPR station commented, "We had quite a few people ask about it". You can hear the movie review plus music through this link. ON CBC: Disc Drive with Jurgen Gothe is one of the most popular programs on CBC's Radio Two. On December 12 (2005) he played Track 4, "because it sounded Christmas-y".
